 Tell Me About...

Let’s Live Abroad! is contracted by major banks in Spain to sell repossessions. As 'the leading overseas property agency' (Daily Record), we have served a growing trend in buying property abroad since 2001

As companies go, Let’s Live Abroad! strive to create a successful working model, providing a refined and meticulous service to clients with particular attention paid to aftersales. We are an ethical company that promotes the purchase of properties in politically and economically stable countries taking qualified advice on trusted and safe investments. Let’s Live Abroad! do not recommend countries that are divided; close to conflicts; corrupt; meteorologically challenged or carry a poor human rights record. However, with agreements with some of the biggest estate agencies in the world, we can ensure you purchase through trustworthy agencies in the country of your choice.

Let’s Live Abroad! are happy to arrange inspection tours in the country and area of your choice with qualified, salaried consultants. Call us on (00 44) 0141 25 88 935.

There is no harm in going out to see what is out there. Whatever happens; you will come back with more information than if you never went out at all!

It’s a fact: People take risks buying homes overseas. Don’t you be one of them! If you are buying abroad: do it properly.

TV programmes with titles like: Holiday Homes From Hell and Housetrapped In The Sun, programme makers are looking for trouble. Trevor Macdonald's Tonight programme came in for criticism from Bernadette Costello, editor of Overseas Property Professional magazine who found both those appearing on the programme and those who found themselves on the cutting-room floor all had positive contributions edited out. Costello spoke to someone attending a property auction filmed in the programme that sold only one home under the hammer. They claimed the auction was held at such short notice, the auctioneer had to phone friends to sit in the room! Costello suggested: “Perhaps Spain should change its name because headline writers are rhyming Spain with too many words like ‘pain’, ‘no gain’, ‘strain’ and ‘shame’.”

It's interesting to note that the Met Office have now issued guidelines ordering forecasters to put a more positive spin on the UK weather, so whenever there’s a ‘small chances of showers’, forecasters now have to say it’s going to be ‘mostly dry’. If you’re thinking about joining the estimated six million buying a home abroad, let us give you our version of ‘dry’... It's in the shape of a lovely wide-necked glass, filled with dark red Rioja; supped on a sunny balcony cascading with bougainvillea!

Please remember that anything you read on this web pages does not form any part of a contract. Ensure you visit the property, or site where your property is being built, and that you employ a qualified lawyer to clarify anything you have seen and have been told.
