Never send deposits, holding fees or rent by bank transfer, wire service or any payment method a lister asks for privately. A genuine lister will never rush you to pay before a viewing, and will never move the conversation or the payment away from this site.

Why: fraudsters advertise properties they do not own and disappear with the deposit. Every listing here goes through automated fraud screening — adverts that steer payment off the platform are detected and hidden automatically, and the accounts behind them are reviewed. Off-platform payments cannot be traced or protected, so if anyone asks you to pay them directly, stop and report the listing to us.
